Main AreasOur team has worked, among others, with projects regarding the simulation, optimization, control, dimensioning and operation of power networks, especially with distributed renewable energy generators. We use, for instance, DIgSILENT/PowerFactory to develop simulation models for the integration of distributed energy generators into electrical networks and to carry out the corresponding simulations. Research and consulting projects in the area of renewable energies comprise wind and solar power, bio-mass, combined heat and power generation as well as hydropower. |
